We manage our chromebooks and usually everything runs perfectly. Have most of our students in off hours so while at school they are stuck in our domain, but after school from 3.00 pm - til 8 am the next day.  Randomly this week we have a number of students who now in off ours can't sign into any other accounts.   Any suggestions? No settings or anything has been changed.  Is anyone else experiencing this?   See attached message they are getting

I would check their local clock. The device may have had either a reset or update that may have affected it.

Hi,
There are a couple of things you can try first.
Have a look in your console and see if you can see these users/chromebooks.
If they are still in there check they have the ability to sign into other accounts as it looks like this is blocking the sign in (was the sign in with their school accounts or personal)

We have this issue as well. First reported by a student on Wednesday 3rd March

That said, it *is* removing the autocomplete domain as it should and it is enabling guest mode so it's partially working. However if you try to login with a normal gmail account you get the following error.

You are not authorised to use this Device. Please contact the administrator for sign-in permissions.

I've tried moving my test chromebook to another OU setup with the device off hours, this has made no difference and I'm still getting the same error;

Clear User Profiles and Factory Reset haven't fixed this.
Updating from 88.0.4324.186 to 88.0.4324.208 hasn't worked either.

No problems signing in with domain accounts.

Seems to indicate this might be a Google issue as our settings had not changed when this started happening.

Regards
Donovan
