MDOT Commission Meeting(s)

   i agreed at the advocacy meeting to find the dates of   STC  transportation commission meetings.  The next one is July 31, and materials have to be submitted by JUly 17. I don't think that that deadline applies to public comments but we could consider this a target date for submitting something in writing.   The site that I found says that the location has not been set.

      I sent an email to staff requesting a full calendar for the coming year. 

          Let me by pickly for  moment and stress that the STC is a commission and not a committee.. Committees are advisory. The Commission DOES set policy for the transportation department.

Thanks for all that including the very pertinent information about the difference between a commission and a committee.  This state employee should know better.
