Hello,

Every time my cell phone connects or disconnects from a WiFi network I'm getting a super annoying Google Chrome browser notification on my Windows 10 desktop PC, looking like this:

Local Network
OnePlus 8 asked to be tested on local network

How do I make these stop? I tried adjusting the notification settings in Windows and all it will let me do is turn on or off notifications for the Join web app from Chrome altogether and I want to leave them on. I went through all of the notification settings in the Join Android app and can't any setting related to local network notifications and testing.

It's super annoying. Can someone please advise? Thanks!

And now I'm also getting the following annoying alerts every once in a while as well:

This site has been updated in the background.

Hi. What you can do is in the Join app disable the local network features.

Unfortunately those notifications are mandatory for websites: every time a website receives a push it MUST create a notification about it.

Thank you for your contact.

Join: connect multiple devices (send pushes, remote SMS, notifications) on Android, Windows, Mac, Linux
Tasker: customize/automate anything on your phone!
AutoApps: add advanced functionality to Tasker via plugins

Thanks Joao.  I see where you wrote about this here also.
My PC and Android phone are both on the same local network though...? 🤔

Some pushes have to not happen on the local network though for technical reasons...
