Hello,
I've juste downloaded Tasker today and I would like to know how to configure an auto ON/OFF VPN when launching an app (here Chrome).
I've already seen that I have to create a profil with "Send Intent" but when I fill in the box, nothing happens.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks and good day !

did you fill in the intent as shown? of course using your own password? did it run?

then you need a trigger for when to run it. when do you want it to run?

Hello Marta,

I don't think I get what you're saying. I tried to run it via OpenVPN but I miss some files I guess (Certificates number where I don't know I can get).

Is it possible to run the VPN with tasker not using any input options ?
Thanks

This is what I use.  I have it set to stop the exit task if I restart the app as well.  This keeps it from turning off if I change my mind and re-open the app.

For the certificate, you need to have I believe fingerprint lockscreen set up (for AdGuard) in order to install it.  If you don't wish to use a lockscreen you can set it up and then use Smart Lock (if you're on Android).

Profile: Adguard On (3)
Restore: no Enforce: no
Application: Chrome or TuneIn Radio
Enter: Adguard On (2)
Abort Existing Task
A1: Stop [ With Error:Off Task:Adguard Off ]
A2: Send Intent [ Action:start Cat:None Mime Type: Data: Extra:password:(your password here) Extra: Extra: Package:com.adguard.android Class:com.adguard.android.receivers.AutomationReceiver Target:Broadcast Receiver ]

Exit: Adguard Off (4)
Abort Existing Task
A1: Wait [ MS:0 Seconds:0 Minutes:1 Hours:0 Days:0 ]
A2: Send Intent [ Action:stop Cat:None Mime Type: Data: Extra: Extra:password:(your password here) Extra: Package:com.adguard.android Class:com.adguard.android.receivers.AutomationReceiver Target:Broadcast Receiver ]
