I have a profile that triggers every 30 mins, but it should trigger only if I'm not listing to ANY audio.
I currently have the profile setup to work correctly, when I'm on the phone. But there are a lot of other apps I could be using that may play audio. for e.g. music apps. watching videos sent to me or just youtube.

Question - is there a way to identify if audio out is being used on the phone.. don't care which app is doing it or what audio it is putting out.

'Tasker is music playing plugin" by Hareno Mons.  It has some bad reviews but it worked with my Audible app.  It's an old plugin but still on Play Store.

Be sure read the "about" section for instructions on how to use it. 😀

Thanks! will check it out.
I think Tasker should be able to do this natively using a Java function. Looking into that as well.

Never mind.  I finally remembered that the AutoTools plugin's System State action is what you want.
