I've been using the same profile on my rooted note 9 and its been working flawlessly. Ive purchased a S20 and don't want to root it just yet (Its driving me crazy already)
I have a profile that switched AOD on when charging and off when not charging.
For simplicity on my rooted phone I can manually execute this command using custom settings:

Name
aod_mode

Value
1

This enables AOD and works fine.

On my rooted phone it does not work, I've allowed all the necessary permissions as my rooted phone and still no go.

Does this really need to be rooted to work or have I missed something simple.

Thanks

Did you install the Tasker Settings app? It is required to change the AOD setting.
