Original Tamarack homeowners - Inquiry

Greetings,

   First, I apologize if I am 'out of place' in your receiving this letter....

there is a purpose....

   I am one of the original Tamarack Homeowners - from the first release - and still own my cottage (11 Rock Creek Court).  In seeing the expansion happening throughout the resort I began to reminisce about our first years and the importance of our contributions to sustaining and enlivening its continuance.

   Hence, I came up with the idea that the original homeowners who continue to own at Tamarack could and ought to be recognized.  I spoke with Scot Turlington (President, Tamarak Resort) inquiring about my idea that the original group might (should) have jackets signifying this.  He immediately responded with a "YES" leaving me to resource the names.

   This has been extremely difficult! This morning I found this list of names (yes, from 2010) - hence you have received this.

   I would appreciate hearing from each of you - 

1. Are you an original homeowner - what release were you in (year?)

2.  . What is your Tamarack address (phone numbers would also be helpful).

3. Are you still a Tamarack Homeowner? Would you like a jacket (gift of Tamarack) with a Tamarack original (first...??) emblem of it? 

      *If so, may I have your name and your spouse (if applicable) and your jacket size?

4. Do you know of any other original owners - if so may I either have their contact information - or would you forward this email to them?

I would love to expedite this - my dream would be to have them by this year's annual meeting - but completing all of this may take longer than four months.

  ** If you no longer own at Tamarack, your responding with this information  would be very helpful. 

I appreciate your assistance - and am eager to hear from you - and would also welcome any thoughts about Tamarak that you may wish to share.

I have very mixed about all of the changes at Tamarack. But I’m grateful I was able to experience all of those early years.

We weren't the original owners. We bought our Condo at 18 Haystack when it went into foreclosure by the original owner. We bought it in 2010. We kept it all during the lean years contributing heavily to continued operation of the ski hill. We finally sold it two months before the current owners bought the resort.

Good to hear from you. Yes we are still owners in Tamarack since 2004 and we were “Polaris members” and we are still at 415 Discovery Dr. 

We love your idea regarding the jackets.

My jacket size is large and Carole’s is small.

Ellen,

1. John Redl and I (Cathy Kitto) are the original owners of 150 Twin Creeks Court.  We bought in the first release in January 2004 and we moved in Christmas 2004 when it was almost complete.

2.  Our Tamarack address is 150 Twin Creeks Ct.  We also own a townhouse at 14 Golden Bench Ct bought in the second release in January 2005. 

Our phones are: (206) 930-1625 (John) and (206) 406-3913 (Cathy).

3.  Yes!  We love the idea of special (Polaris?) jackets for those of us who pioneered and stuck it out through the lean years.  John would need an Extra Large and I probably need a Medium or possibly a Small if they are man's sizes and run large.  

4.  I see you already have Bev and Kent Hellman.  They bought a townhouse in the 2nd release and later moved to Twin Creeks Ct. for a few years before buying in the village.

Kevin and Katherine Kornegay bought in the 1st release (Twin Creeks Ct) and the 2nd release (a townhouse).  He is on facebook but we don't have an address.

Dan and Kathy Boespflug along with two other couples bought a Twin Creeks chalet during the 1st release but sold it long ago.  They now live in Donnelly and are active at the resort.

Ellen,

This is a great idea but I suspect I don't qualify.  I was an original purchaser of 27 Golden Bench Court.  Subsequently I bought a second property on Golden Bench Court which I leased to employees, a chalet on Discovery, and a cottage on Rock Creek (which was also rented to employees of the current owner for which I am still owed over $7,000 in rent.  I was also an investor in the partnership to keep the resort in operation.
