Bank Holiday Monday really messed with me! I only remembered at 7:30 film club was on. Sad as I was looking forward to Infinity Pool.

Was it a good discussion?

Missed the last few due to being away and then having a bad cold, but hopefully back next week.

Oh no! You must have been in holiday/weekend mode!

The discussion was good and focused a lot on class (which was also the focus of the intro) and nepotism. It wasn't a popular film, which Connor was relieved about as I don't think he wanted to be the only one not to like it. I won't say too much in case you watch it... and I'm not very good at hiding spoilers.

Hope to see you next week - I think it will be a good one (long, though, so a 6.45 start)  :- )

Hello Alex

Discussion good as always. Consensus -a pile of junk. So interesting to read reviews. Very polarised 1's or 5's. Cinema is truely in the eye of the beholder! To my eye this was neither horrifying, interesting, well written or well performed. Just very silly and very tedious. Germs of a few interesting ideas that went nowhere in a mess of quasi freudian , ancient shamanistic gobbledegook. You swerved that one nicely! Though as Conner said it can be just as interesting to watch and discuss a bad movie as well as a good one.
