Taiga as a ticket system

I heard about Taiga on FLOSS weekly and am looking at it for a ticketing system as I like the simplicity of having issues, projects and tasks with the Kanban view.

Is there a way to allow anyone, or perhaps certain domains to send emails to an address and automatically open an issue?

Hello Andre,

Thank you very much for the feedback and for using Taiga.

Right now it's possible using the Taiga API. There is a github project https://github.com/paultag/taiga-email from an external user showing how it can be used.
