I am attempting to duplicate our Taiga project so that we can remove the history and plan for upcoming work in the new year using a new project instance.

I successfully created a dump file from our current Taiga project, but it errors when I try to import it:

Create Project > Import Project > Taiga > select dump file > import

Error results: "Oops, something happened...Our Oompa Loompas are sad, your changes were not saved!" and it fails.

The dump file is 173.3MB in size.

Any help appreciated.

(BTW Whoever thought the "oompa loompas" thing was amusing obviously doesn't need to see it several times a day - it gets very old, very fast - consider rewording with something more professional?)

Hello Bret,

Where are you trying to upload that file?. Is it your own instance or https://tree.taiga.io? 173MB will probably exceed the max file size of the web server.

If you are using your own taiga instance you could use this command to manually import it:

python manage.py load_dump JSON_FILE OWNER_EMAIL

Regards,

Yes, its Taiga.io.

We are on a paid subscription, so wondering if I can log a ticket somewhere to get the file size changed or some back door option to migrate.

We are wanting to duplicate our current instance to delete content and start partially afresh...

... I will check the support options.
