Slack Integration doesn't work

Hello,

I installed the plugin as it should and tested the integration through the interface and saw the corresponding test message on Slack. However, notifications don't appear there. I'm seeing email notifications corresponding to changes in issues and user stories, but I'm not seeing those messages on slack. Is there anything that I might be missing? I tried to check the logs but coudln't find anything.

have you enabled all slack notificaions in Admin > Plugins > Slack???

What version of the slack plugin are you using? And of taiga-back???

Are you using celery??

Hello David,

Thanks for answering. Yes, all notifications are enabled in the respective menu. I'm using celery as well. With regards to the version, I'm using commit #4c8a51500 of the taiga-back stable branch and for slack, I'm using version 1.10. Thanks for your help!

The test button works in synchronous mode, to detect if celery and the asynch tasks are the problem, could you try disabling them?

Add

CELERY_ENABLED = False

at the end of taiga-back/settings/local.py restart taiga-back and try again.

Hello David,

I had no idea that the Slack plugin depended on celery. I hadn't restarted that process after installing the plugin. It works as intended now. Thanks a lot for your help.
