Slack integration error

Hi there,

I am new to taiga and managed to get it working using the docker instructions which I modified slightly to use certbot and get HTTPS working.

However, I am having a hard time with the slack integration.

I followed the instructions and I am able to get taiga to post the test message on slack just fine.

However, I do not get any project updates. I have enabled the integration for all activities that appear on the screen, but nothing happens when I add/modify/remove tasks/stories/etc.

I suspect this might be some configuration option for the back-end that I am missing?

Does this keep happening to you? If so, you can create an issue in our project (https://tree.taiga.io/project/taiga/issues) so that we can properly evaluate it and you can track its progress.

Sorry for the late reply -- Google groups did not notify me of your reply.

Here's an update. The slack integration works fine for some time and then it stops.

When I re-launch taiga by hand, docker tells me that the only the taiga_async service has been started and then all notifications that were queued up are sent at once. From this, I believe that the async service must be crashing at some point, causing the notifications to stop.

Do you know of a way to collect a log of the async service to send it to you for inspection?

you can use

docker-compose logs taiga-async

and you can find more options by checking the help

docker-compose log --help
