SysML : Can you associate block ports with activity diagram action pins?

Hi all,

Does SysML define a way to make an association between the input ports and output ports of a block (static design), on the one hand – with input pins and output pins of actions in activity diagrams, on the other hand?

You can Allocate the ParameterNodes of the Activity to the Ports of the Block - however I don’t think you can do it on a diagram as there’s no way to show both the Block with Ports and Activities with ParameterNodes on the same diagram (you can show an Activity using rectangular ‘Block’ notation, but it doesn’t then show the Parameters as nodes on the boundary.) So you have to make this link in the browser, the specification of one of the elements, a table or a matrix
