I found sympy from GSoC previous organisations. It is an interesting project and I would like to contribute to it. Can someone please show me how to start.

Hello,
I am Mohit Gupta,Computer Science Undergrad at IIT Bombay(India).
I have recently started to learn python.So, i am not very much familiar to it,but will get soon.
I am well versed with c++ with 3 yrs of experience.
I have maths in academics and I am pretty good at it.
Also have good knowledge of physics.
No particular algorithmic interest.
Not much familiar with computer algebra.
Geographical location-Mumbai(India)

I am a third year undergrad (Electronics + Msc. Mathematics) at BITS Pilani, India. I have 2 years of experience in Python having used it for competitive cooding and few small machine learning projects. Having almost completed my Msc. maths course, I am conversant with almost all mathematical concepts used till date in sympy(as mentioned in the documentation). I haven't used sympy previously but have a rough idea of its working and architecture after going through the documentation(not completely). I hope to start contributing in about a week after I return from vacation.
