Hello, I am Akshay Nagar a GSOC aspirant interested and currently contributing to ODE Solver. My current proposal idea entails the application of Lie groups to second order odes.
I have a question though the ideas page mentions about separation ansatz. I read through the research paper mentioned thoroughly and I think I might be missing something but wouldn't testing for 3 random values of x0, y0 and inserting in the algorithm given in the pdf work reasonably well?
Also please comment for suggestions or some specific functionality you would like to see in lie groups method for second order odes,
