GSoC 2015 - Series Expansion

Hi,

I wanted to work on series expansions. I have read about computing formal power series(FPS) of a function[1]. I see that last year project regarding FPS was picked, but PR regarding the project are still not merged. Should I continue to work on these PR, or write from scratch?
