GSoC 2017 : Singularity Functions

Hello , I'm Mohit Chandra, second year CS undergrad . I looked into GSoC 2017 ideas page and found the idea on singularity function interesting . When I further looked into the idea , I found out that it has been implemented in GSoC 2016 already . So , could someone tell me is the idea still valid for this year too. Thanks
