GSoC 2026 : Question about parsing fortran to sympy for gsoc 2026

Hi everyone,

I'm Jassem, an applied mathematics & data science student FST. I'm interested in the "Parsing Fortran code to Sympy" project idea.

Will this idea project be considered for GSocC 2026 Sympy's scope ? I'm planning to apply and would like to know if this idea is still active and if there are mentors available for it.
