Hello everyone,

my name is Abdallah Khaled Elshamy. I’m from Egypt so my native language is arabic.

I’m a computer engineering student at the faculty of engineering of Ain shams university.

Years of programming with python: around 3 years.

Previous projects: I have done plenty of projects with python and implemented a lot of famous algorithms such as: Kosaraju Two Pass Algorithm , floyd-warshall , MWIS ,huffman codes, Dijkstra-Shortest-Path-Algorithm,etc.

you can find some of my work in my profile : https://github.com/Abdallah-Elshamy

Mathematical education level: as I have mentioned I am an engineering student so I have a good mathematical education level (specially calculus and algebra).

Particular interests: I’m interested in “Continuum Mechanics: Create a Rich 2D Beam Solving System” project as I have a good background about it because I studied a course in structural analysis in the college.

level of familiarity with symbolic math systems: very familiar as I have taken courses in it in the college.

your familiarity with SymPy: I have never used it before but I hope to do so soon.

Happy coding.

Hello Everyone,

I am Anmol Agarwal, a first year undergraduate at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. I am deeply interested on working in the SymPy Organisation this summer, in particular the ideas under the Probability section. I am well versed with Python and would like to contribute to the project. This is my first GSoC, hoping to have a wonderful summer. Please enlighten me on how to proceed further.

Thank You

Hello Everyone,

My name is Pratham Gupta. I am an undergraduate at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi(IIITD), India.
I have worked with python in the past and am well versed with it and have done many projects in it including basic games such as Pac-man, also implementing algorithms such as Linear Regression, etc.
I am keen to learn mathematics and have been intuitive in it.
The topics that I am interested in are: Ordinary Differential Equations, Multivariate polynomials and factorisation and Risch algorithm for symbolic integration.
I am not familiar with SymPy as of now but I have read the tutorial and I am willing to put in more than enough effort for learning it.
Hope to spend the summer working on it.

Happy Coding.

Hello,

I am Ritwika Ghosh. I am currently pursuing my bachelors in Software Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. I have 3+ years of experience in Python and I have worked on quite a few projects in the past, mostly on computer vision and recommender systems. I am through with high school level of Mathematics, especially calculus and algebra. I am new to SymPy. I have gone through the documentation and I would like to contribute to it. I am thinking of applying to GSoc'19.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

I am Gaurav Sharma, a fourth-year(Senior) at Jecrc University, Jaipur(INDIA) speaks English and Hindi.  I have 5 years of experience in working with python & also created various projects in python and javscript and other languages. I am very familiar with mathematics to the college level(especially for engineers). As currently working on some Deep Learning and machine learning projects which uses pure proofs of mathematics os specialised topics such as probability, statistics, linear algebra, univariate, multivariate calculus & optimization.
I also have fair understandings of data structure and algorithms(also studied at undergrad academic). My two review research is under evaluation which consists of topics of machine learning which are highly entertained by mathematics. Therefore, I find sympy as an organization to be the best fit for me to contribute to GSOC-19. Already started Pushing PR and reviewing code.

Thank You
Gaurav Sharma
