Hi everyone,
As you've probably noticed, we are doing a lot more promotion for Google Summer of Code this year in celebration of the 10th instance of the program. Back in October we mentioned our '10 Things' campaign where we're making 10 additions to the program this year on our blog [1].
Two of our big initiatives are around getting great student and mentor stories to highlight on our blog in promotion of the program. As such, we wanted to reach out to you all, our eyes and ears for the program, to find out what those great stories are.
Do you know a GSoC student who went on to become a mentor and now an org admin for your organization? Tell us about it. Know a mentor who's now on your Board of Directors because of her participation in GSoC? Tell us about it. Know a GSoC student who has started his own business with the money he got through the program? Tell us about it. Colorful, fun, quirky stories are encouraged. :-)
Please submit this form by 28 February to let us know more: http://goo.gl/ovG0uo[1] -
