Regarding participation in gsoc 2017

It would be very kind of you if you could tell me whether this organisation in taking part in gsoc 2017 so that I can put forward my project idea and discuss with you all.

Just one more thing - Can i come up with my own idea or I have to choose the ideas from your idea page.

You can come up with your own idea but you should discuss it with us
first to make sure that it is something that we really want, and isn't
already implemented.
