Since people are already showing interest in GSoC, I have created a
2015 ideas page, which is so far a copy of last year.
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2015-Ideas. Please go in and
edit it to add new ideas or remove old ones that are already
implemented.

I have also copied the application template
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2015-Application-Template and
org application
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2015-Organization-Application
(which I have not updated at all yet). Feel free to edit those as
well.

If any interested students have any questions about GSoC, please ask
them here on the mailing list.

I don't see any on the ideas list, but I'm sure there are things that can be done. One suggestion for a starting point would be to look at finishing https://github.com/sympy/sympy/pull/2209 (there are also some other ideas for future work in that pull request and the associated issues). I would also take a look at the ntheory module and see if anything is missing or could be improved.

Another idea would be to improve the Diophantine solver. There was already a project to solve Diophantine equations a couple of years ago, but there may be cases that have still not been implemented.
