Hi,
I Bhumik Shah would like to introduce myself . I am currently pursuing Btech. In Computer Science and

Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad . I am following the mailing list for quite some time and I am pretty

much interested in contributing to development of open source software.

My skills include programming language : GNU C/C++ , Python , Javascript ,Version Control  system  SVN.

I  am also pretty good at web2py which is python framework for web development. I am willing to learn more technology if needed to contribute in open source software .

I would like to contribute in SymPy and take project  further  to Google Summer Of Code - 2014.

For which I need some guidance on how to begin so I would appreciate if anyone helps me out with the same.

Thanking you,

Regards,

BHUMIK SHAH

Hi Bhumik,
You can start with these two pages:

https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2014-ideas
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2014-application-template

That should give you some ideas what to propose. If you have further questions,
please ask.
