Technical writers can now submit their applications to the Season of Docs program using the form: forms.gle/Fxr2nW4TCiyESHbo8

If you’re working with any technical writers to refine their project proposals, now is a good time to help them finalize the goals of their chosen project and put their application together. To understand more about your duties during the technical writer application phase, take a look at the guidelines for organization administrators and for mentors.

If you have any questions about the program, please email the Season of Docs team at season-of-d...@googlegroups.com.

Cheers,

--Andrew

Hello,

I want to know whether there is a template of the proposal? What major headings should it cover? As this program is a new one, there ain't any sample available for the proposal.

Regards,

Oh, I apologize. I thought we have to submit a proposal similar to one we submitted for the GSoC. I have checked that we have to fill the google form only.

We don't have any additional proposal guidelines beyond the default ones.  However, I would highly recommend not skipping the optional section for including work samples (it can also be docs work done on SymPy if you have contributed).
