My name is Anshumaan Parashar. I am a B.Tech sophomore in Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
I am interested in working with SymPy for Google Summer Of Code 2017. I have the required skills and experience in Python. I also have the necessary mathematical knowledge. I am interested in working in the Group Theory Module. It would be awesome if somebody will guide me regarding the same.
Sincerely,
Anshumaan Parashar

Hi,

Starting with reading the idea on https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2017-Ideas#group-theory . Also there is a gitter channel for Group Theory, you can read the past few discussion there. Starting from this message reading the questions/answers will give you some idea for the project. If some question is still not answered there, then you can post that here.
