Hi guys,
I am Nenad, student from Serbia. My professor of programming suggested me to be part of development of Sympy, so me and some of my collegues decided to translate it in Serbian. We made some progress, but we have never used Github so it is a problem for us to upload our work. Can somebody help us to make Serbian verison of Sympy?
Thanks everyone

Nenad,

What exactly are you translating? The website? The documentation? The code?

Jason,
we have translated tutorial and something from docs. Our plan is to make Serbian version of SymPy, so we will translate something more from site and we will make an effort to translate more and more from time to time, so one day we will have full site translated.

Nenad,

Ok. We don't have our docs set up for internationalization yet. It looks like we need to read this and set up some things:

http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/stable/intl.html

It will be easier if you install Sphinx locally to test thses things out. You'll need to set up a development environment as described here:

https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/Development-workflow

The docs used to be set up for internationalization but it was removed when the tutorial was rewritten. I suppose you could dig out the way it was done before from the git history.

If you have the website translated, there is already stuff set up to translate it. See https://github.com/sympy/sympy.github.com
