Hello!

My name is Nick Cotton. I'm a senior computer science major at the University of Michigan. This is my first semester using Python, but I have extensive C++ experience and have been able to translate that to Python relatively easily throughout the last few months. Previous projects include implementing mutation testing, delta debugging, and a program that calculates the "suspiciousness level" of lines of code to determine the locality of bugs. I also have mathematical education through Calculus III and have completed some coursework in LaTeX.

I am in the process of reading through the documentation and experimenting with SymPy. I have not used it previously but I am interested in learning about all of it's capabilities. I believe that SymPy would be a great way to introduce myself to open source contribution. I appreciate this opportunity and look forward to working with you all.

Regards,
Nick Cotton
