Bleagh, I still need to fix this, completely forgot about it. Somewhere in all the changes made in my GSoC project, this test stopped working. Due to the large size of the expression involved (just printing it takes forever), debugging the failure is tricky. Currently it's left with the previous `linearize` method, which yields the correct solution. I'd like to find some time to work on this, but am a little pressed with grad school stuff currently.
