Sir,
I'm Varun Chappidi, a fourth year undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree in M.Sc Physics and B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani University, India. I'm particularly interested in the topic of quantum computing and have been working on it since the past one year and also presented a paper on "Simulation of NMR Implementation of Deutsch-Jozsa Algorithm" at the IEEE International Conference of Advanced Computing at New Delhi in February 2014 whose proceedings would be published in IEEE Explore. I'm well versed in coding in Python, C and Java and I'm sure I can make a valuable contribution to the project. Hence I would like to work in this field for GSoC 2014 and hence request Mr.Brian E. Granger and Mr. Ondřej Čertík to guide me in it. I'm also interested in working on the other projects in the Physics module of SymPy and would be glad if you could help me out.
Awaiting your reply.
Thanking you
Sincerely
Varun Chappidi

Hi Varun,
Thanks for your interest. Do you have some particular ideas that you
would like to implement
in the quantum module? Or are you looking for suggestions from us?
Here are some ideas
for projects here:

Would you mind sending me the paper you mentioned? I wasn't able
to google it.

Ondrej
