Hello everyone,
I am Eeshaan Jain, a sophomore from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay majoring in Electrical Engineering and pursuing a minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. My interests lie in calculus, linear algebra and deep learning. I have been using Python for some years now, and have done many "fun" projects such as implementing some SOTA models from papers, exploring data, quantum computing and working on some GUI Projects. I am in no way an expert in python and I am eager to learn more! Besides python, I know some C, C++, Java, Javascript and I know LaTeX very well. I have used GitHub too, but mostly for storing self-projects (the only open-source I have contributed to yet are the open source fests held by IIT Bombay).
I have decent knowledge of calculus, physics and linear algebra. I have done the following courses at IIT Bombay :
1. Calculus and Real Analysis (MA 105)
2. Quantum Physics (PH 107)
3. Linear Algebra (MA 106)
4. Electricity and Magnetism (PH 108)
5. Ordinary Differential Equations (MA 108)
6. Complex Analysis (MA 205)
7. Partial Differential Equations (MA 207)
8. Probability and Stochastic Processes (EE 325)
I have also worked a lot with Fourier Transforms and Boolean algebra. I have gone through lots of books for the courses listed above.
I got introduced to SymPy when I got interested in Quantum Programming last year, and looked over projects related to the same. I had used SymPy there, and along with that explored the different features it had.

I am from Pune, India and can speak English and Hindi fluently. I want to delve deeper into the world of Open Source, and would love to contribute to SymPy. Looking forward to work with you all!

Thank you!

Hello everyone,
I'm Chandan Kumar, a second-year Electrical & Electronics Engineering student at NITK, India. I've completed data science with Python, deep learning, and TensorFlow specialization from Coursera. I've used TensorFlow, sci-kit learn, Keras, Pytorch frameworks in my machine learning and deep learning projects.
In my college coursework and beyond, I've learned Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Statistics & Probability, and Quantum Mechanics. I'm currently going through graph theory and algorithms specialization courses.
I haven't used SymPy yet but I'm really interested in learning it and implementing it in my projects. I have completed the Sympy video tutorial and going through the documentation too.
I'm from Gaya, India and comfortable in English and Hindi.
Looking forward to working with the community.

Hello everyone,
I am Sandeep Saurav, a first year student at IIT Bombay pursuing M-Tech in Geo-information and Natural Resources. My interest lies in complete mathematics like, Matrix, linear algebra, calculus,Numerical Methods, Analytical methods , Transformations etc. I have been using python and C since few years and have some knowledge about java also. A part from  Mathematics , i am also having hands on Machine learning , Image processing and have done few projects using OpenCV and raspberry pi using python, using GIS and GPS technologies , android development etc.
Due to my edge towards mathematics and Python i find this community to be the best fit for my contribution.

I am from New Delhi,India and am comfortable in both English and Hindi. I am looking forward to contribute in this community and have some experience working under you all. Please guide me how to start contributing and what all i should follow.

Thankyou !

Presently, I am a Junior ML Engineer at Omdena working on Relationship between Digital Connectivity and Human Development Indicators. Also, I am interning as a Data Science Intern in Numyard. I have a strong foundation in Mathematics. That's why I am looking for an Organization where I can implement the hidden advance mathematics skills & topics that are not present in the Library.
Skills: C,C++,Java, Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, Front End Development , Competitive Programming
Python Experience: 1.5 Years
Mathematical Education Level: Done with High School Mathematics & going through Bachelor degree as well.
Particular Expertise: Arithmetic Mathematics, Algorithms used in Data Structures.
Level of Symbolic Math: Done with the college courses like Discrete Mathematics and Probability Theorem, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, ODE, Real Number System and Advanced Calculus.
Familiarity  with SymPy: Didn't used so far, but highly interested to contribute, to make it a Successful Library.
Relevant Info: Location: India, Languages: English & Hindi.

Hi!
I am Atmesh Mahapatra.
I am a Mathematics and (Most probably) Electronics student.
I have been using SymPy for one of my courses and I have been going through the issues for the past few days, and I really look forward to solving some of them.
Unlike most others, I haven't contributed to open source before. I have worked on my own projects and that's all the experience I have.
It'd be great if someone can suggest good issues to work on, as I'd really like to contribute to something I'd use.
Thanks!
