Hello Mentors,

I want to apply for GSoC 2014. I am interested in the Series Expansion project given on the ideas page.

Please tell me how to proceed further on this idea. I have programmed for some time in Python. But I am not really a python expert. I am trying to understand the source code of sympy, but I do not know from where to start. Can you please help me?

Also, what should I read up on for this project?
