Hi Nathan, 

There are quite a few of us on this list with similar conditions, (Autistic + ADHD) but we are just a loose-knit community club and not a commercial makerspace.
As such, this list and in person at the space are the only source of co-ordination between our members. 

If you have not received any replies from people you must assume that no-one able to do what you ask is available.

We encourage people to drop by during our regular opening hours, but we have no paid staff and limited resources.

I too am on NDIS and have successfully used HireUp to find people to ease me into new spaces, if this advice is of any use.

I hope you can find someone who can ease your way into the community, because we have a lot of interesting people with interesting projects that are well worth meeting!

Hi Nathan, I have been a lurker in this makerspace for a couple of years now. I too have ADHD and fall somewhere along the spectrum. I think you will find that to be a common theme amongst creators. I, like you, have yet to attend the makerspace as getting there is very inconvenient for me. Unlike you, however, I have not publically moaned about it because I feel that everyone out there needs to cater to my whims. I too have a variety of tools and printers and so fourth. I would imagine that many in this group would have also. Are you bragging? Are you trying to lure people to you? I understand that it is hard to understand how other people feel, but from what I have witnessed from the periphery, is that you have been selfish and demanding and even dismissive, whilst the moderators have been accommodating and polite. Like I said before, I have been on the periphery of this group, but never part of it. Just wanted to throw my ten cents into the mix, and let you know that from my perspective, you have been the one who has been casting the shade, while others have tried to be polite and accommodating. (Please don't get angry with them for my opinions, because as I said, I am just an outsider looking in). I am sure that you have a lot of great ideas as many of us with overactive minds do, but every now and then we need to tap the brakes, and be polite to those around us.
