Chili Cook Off at National Night Out Oct 4th.

Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder that South Woodlawn Neighborhood Association will be having a friendly neighborhood chili cook off on Tuesday, October 4 at 6:30 PM. The event will be BEHIND the Woodlawn Christian Church on Woodlawn Pike. 

We are inviting all SWNA members to bring a pot of your favorite chili recipe to the competition. We will have bowls, spoons, and napkins for everyone. You should bring a serving spoon and any extras you want to use as toppings such as cheese, sour cream, or crackers. Decorations around your pot are welcome.

A  few points to address. Could you please let us know if you plan to enter so we can better plan our set. If you are using a crock pot, please bring a short extension cord. We will have some power strips to plug into. And finally, let us know what kind of chili you are making. Will it be meat or veggie, beef or chicken?

Thanks to everyone and remember you DON"T have to enter to attend. Everyone is welcome to come down and sample the entries. But, you can't win the coveted "Golden Ladle" Award if you don't enter.
