The Swift Stand at Bird Fair

Hello to all SLN
How about volunteering to help on The Swift Stand at Global Bird Fair, near Rutland Water, this year from Friday July 10th - Sunday 12th July. We have a fantastic double stand again and if you enjoy sharing your enthusiasm for swifts with others and showing that swifts are a bird that we can help, then this is for you. And as a thank you you’ll receive free entry to Bird Fair!
It only involves a few hours in 'shifts' on the stand, fitting in with what days you are available. That gives you plenty of time to look around the hundreds of other exhibitors. And we always really enjoy the camaraderie of meeting up with each other again, as well as meeting new faces.
SLN has expanded incredibly and we certainly need as many of you SLN members as possible to join us. Several of you are regular volunteers and we definitely hope you'll be coming again. If you like spending time with like-minded people and chatting about our favourite bird, then why not volunteer.
The venue is at Lyndon Top, Nr Oakham, Rutland LE15 8RN. There is a shuttle bus from Oakham to the site . More details from https://globalbirdfair.org/. Camping is available.
