Hello everyone,

I wanted to design a weir in one of the subbasins. In the pond editor (SWAT Editor 2012 -> Subbasin data -> Pond (pnd)), I only edited the “pond” parameters. Then I ran “Re-write SWAT input files.” The differences between the output.sub file with and without ponds were noticeable. However, when I additionally selected Urban BMPs - Detention Ponds in Pond (pnd), where I could set the weir parameters, the results were identical to those for the ponds alone. Why didn’t anything change? I even set the weir parameters higher than necessary. I should add that after setting the weir parameters, an additional *.dpd file was created, whose path is also saved in the *.pnd file corresponding to the given watershed. What could be wrong?

I can try and debug this for you if you send me the contents of your current txtinout folder.

Thanks,

Nancy
