Hello
I hope this email finds you well. I’m currently working on a model for Caney Creek in Montgomery County, Texas, and I’m experiencing an issue where the Curve Number (CN) for wetland land uses (wetf and wetw) is not updating correctly in the SWAT+ Editor. Despite following the standard procedures for modifying the CN values, the wetland CN remains at 0, leading to unrealistic runoff values in the model.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
However, despite these changes, the CN still shows as 0 for both wetf and wetw in the model’s output. This is resulting in excessively high surface runoff from the wetlands, which is unrealistic.
I’d greatly appreciate it if anyone in the group could provide insight or suggestions on:
Namraj:
I believe this was a problem that has been fixed in a newer version of the model. What version of SWAT+ are you currently using? This is printed at the top of all the output (*.txt) files.

Thank you for your email. This is a more recent model than I thought. Please send me the contents of your current txtinout folder and I will take a look.

Subject: Re: [SWAT+ Editor User Group] Issue with Wetland Curve Number (CN) Not Updating in SWAT+ Editor

Helo Nancy
I used the SWAT editor V3.2.0
I tried using different curve number categories, but it is not reflected or updated in the Landuse summary.
I appreciate your help.
