SUFI-2 SWAT-CUP: Simulation fails due to missing goal.txt entries and no_beh_sims.txt error

Hello SWAT-CUP Team and Users,

I am facing a persistent issue while running SUFI-2 in SWAT-CUP for my project . The process executes partially but terminates with errors in the post-processing phase. While in the first calibration i tried for 1 simulation then it was okay but after this more than time like 5 ,20,500 all comes same problem

Here are the key errors from the SUFI2_post.bat console (screenshot attached):

Could Not Find C:\...\SUFI2.OUT\beh_*.* 

ERROR simulation number 2 in variable file 1 is missing or has a problem

 Reading goal file simulation no 2 is missing from the goal.txt file Error! simulation 1 has problems Cannot open input file /SUFI2.OUT/no_beh_sims.txt THIS IS NOT AN ERROR!! There were no solutions with the objective function value >= the behavioral threshold

What I have already tried:

• Verified that the goal.txt file exists, but seems some simulations are not listed or generated properly.

• Checked the SUFI2.OUT folder and found files like flow.out, sed_out, but not the required beh_*.* files.

• Made sure my .fig, .par, .dat and observation files are correctly formatted.

• Restarted the process multiple times with cleaned output folders.

• Followed previous guidance and tutorials, including adjusting the threshold values and observation file formats.

My questions:

1. Why is goal.txt missing simulation no. 2, even though the simulation ran?

2. How can I ensure proper generation of the beh_*.txt and no_beh_sims.txt files?

3. Are there specific reasons that would cause no behavioral simulations to meet the objective function threshold?

4. Should I re-run the model from scratch, or is there a way to manually fix these files?

Any help, suggestions, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, this occurs mainly due to incorrect entry of the observed data. Please check the all the entries related to observed data carefully. Also, you can refer to previous posts related to the same issue.

Thanks for your time but i saw your problem also it was similar to that i also check a video in your problem but i can't get the solve, can you direct me how to fix it? Thanks & Regards Mr Prantim.

I cannot directly tell you the exact reason; the reason can be from any of the input files. Maybe you can share your input files here so that we can give it a try.

Actually which files  should I sent here please tell me it , should I send here  the observed file of sufi2 project or the main SWAT project observed file . Also again thank you please help me out its too urgent for me
