Dear all, How can I solve this problem for validation?

I have a feeling that you didn't get the concept of "validation" correctly. 

Let's say you have a 30-year study period model, what you would do is to set, say, the latter 20 years to be the calibration period, and the first 10 years to be the validation period. 

In this case, you will modify your parameters and do your SUFI2 things for the latter 20 years, apply observed.txt and observed_rch.txt file as well as all the inputs such as climate data, do SUFI2_extract_rch.def things, etc., then, once you have your optimal parameters in par_inf.txt file, which by the way, is updated for each of your simulations (check new_pars.txt file), then you don't touch your par_inf.txt anymore (you can keep the parameters in par_inf.txt file to be either optimal range or optimal single value based on the 95ppu you get from the optimal simulation), and change all of your observed values and climate data using the first 10 years, to see whether the "optimal parameters" you got can give you a good simulation for the first 10 years or not. That's what this message means.

I did calibration  well. When I tried for validation by changing observed data proposed for validation it say SUFI2 is inactive.

After conducting calibration and getting acceptable agreement between observed and simulated one, validation process is continued using the same parameter range and iteration by clicking the calibration button also.
