A general request

Because we all face mortality, and I'm perhaps the least communicative amongst us, I humbly request that one person in the group who is at least ten years my junior private message me and we exchange phone numbers, that I may stay in contact. Text would be preferable, but voice may be acceptable. If and when that is accomplished I shall leave instructions upon my death, permanent disability (Alzheimer's, etc) or other inability to communicate.

Okay, I didn’t realize I was almost the youngest member of the group! I thought there were a few people who were members of the last writer’s group who were in their late forties…

For further information I’m 61 years old and not a bit ashamed of it. But that does introduce a question, are we all aging out? And will that mean the group becomes defunct?

Once in every 11 years your birth year gets a twin 55,66,77. It's a special year really. I will have to wait until I'm 77 until my 7 will get an identical twin. 

It's not a typical Dutch expression I'm afraid. It's a typical Han ( not Hans) expression though.

I don’t think so. I think we’re just hitting our prime. 😊

 

So, I ‘early retired’. Go figure. The wife and I are going to do some traveling while we’re young enough to still enjoy it.

 

However, that does set me up to have ample time to work on all the stories I should have had done two years ago…

I'm 68 and traveling too much to be reliable here anyway.  If anything happens to me, I wanted Nukie to come get my laptop (he lives roughly 3 miles from me) and publish all my unfinished work, but I don't think he's up to it any more.  And his wife would put my laptop in the oven anyway, as soon as she figured out he wasn't looking at my sailboat pictures.
