Hi All
Yesterday a fabulous team of activists showed up at the PSC meeting to
protest the Albany Loop pipeline. And already 200 calls have been made
to the Gov's office.
Even if you already called earlier this week - call again today!
*PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL WIDELY*
A proposed fracked gas pipeline would go through the heart of the
Capitol region. If built, the Albany loop pipeline would be 7.3 miles
long and cut through the Hudson River, Interstate 90 and towns
in Albany and Rensselaer counties.
This pipeline would threaten the Hudson River and local communities,
while locking New York into climate-destroying fossil fuels. That’s why
the town boards of East Greenbush and Bethlehem have voted to oppose the
project.

Thursday in Albany, activists delivered a letter signed by over 100
organizations calling on Governor Cuomo and John Rhodes, chair of the
Public Service Commission, to stop the pipeline – please support their
efforts by calling today and throughout the weekend.*
New York needs renewable energy, and we need it yesterday. We *cannot
*lock ourselves into decades more of fossil fuels while the climate
crisis intensifies.
*Call Governor Cuomo @
877-235-6537 and tell him to stop
the Albany Loop pipeline, and all fossil fuel projects. New Yorkers want
renewable alternatives NOW.*
