URGENT: Calls Needed Today to Support Balcony Solar In NY

Hi folks - here's a different but very important sustainability activity we can do today in Lewisboro - contacting the NY State Assembly Speaker about passing the balcony solar act in NY. If any of you are up for making one phone call today to support the passing of Balcony Solar in NY State, that would be terrific! 

What to do: Call NY Speaker Carl Heastie (pronounced 'hasty') 518.455.3791. 

Sample Script: Hi, my name is _______, and I live in ______. I'm calling to urge Speaker Heastie to pass the SUNNY Act for plug-in or balcony solar. Given the anticipated rollback of New York's landmark Climate Law, we need the Assembly to take a stand and make sure SUNNY passes this session so New Yorkers can have access to portable solar panels to lower costs and lower emissions. 

It's quick and easy. Likely you will leave a message with a staffer or voicemail. Let me know if you have any questions. If you know anyone else that would be willing to make the call, please forward this to them.
