SDO's May Meeting

Spring is flying by and it is time for our monthly Sustainable Delaware Ohio Meeting!

We'll meet on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00-11:30am at the downtown branch of the Delaware Public Library! All are welcome!

Since I won't be able to make it, here's the Treasurer’s Report and the latest on the Upcycling Center at OWU:

Treasurer’s Report

• $1,340.11 in SDO General fund (unchanged)
• $905.42 in NCOPP fund (after purchasing sign backs)
  • Now has a Pollinator Ambassador sub-fund, with $9.76 in it

Upcycling Report

• After some hiccups, the center will have an intern through the summer, paid through the Nault Community Service Learning Grant: Josiah Montgomery, a Fine Arts major at OWU.
• Ohio Wesleyan University is now the fiscal sponsor of the Upcycling Center at OWU.
• New summer hours: 6-8 PM Mondays, 1-5 PM on Fridays, and 1-5 PM on Sundays.
• The center will also be open 1-5 PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 16-18 for OWU Alumni Weekend, also the weekend of the Delaware Arts Festival.
