Celebrate the grand opening of Wade Hardware, and the re-opening of our town’s oldest commercial building at 400 SW 2nd Street, formerly Robnett’s Hardware. The store will be open to the public and the Open House will be in collaboration with Tarweed Folk School, who has a new home and classroom in the same space.
All summer classes, taught by local educators and craftspeople, are now open for registration at tarweedfolkschool.com with scholarships available to all. More events are coming soon and more classes to be released for Fall 2025!Tarweed Folk School stewards opportunities for community-based, hands-on learning to all ages. The mission of Tarweed Folk School is to tend to the land, ourselves, and each other through the sharing of practical arts and place-based knowledge in the heart of the Willamette Valley. This Summer Session of classes is in partnership with Wade Hardware, the Corvallis Waldorf School, Highland Woodshop, and Cascade Pacific Resource Conservation & Development.
