Role: JAVA UI Developer Urgent

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL or AUSTIN, TX OR SEATTLE, WA

Duration: Long term contract

Essential Skills:

• Solid understanding of modern web fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Understanding of modern web layout techniques such as Flexbox and Grid
• Understanding of progressive enhancement in web design
• Understanding of common web UX patterns
• Experience building systems compatible across multiple browsers
• Good background in one or more modern web frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experience with modern tooling such as npm, Grunt, and Webpack
• Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Sass and Less
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Jest
• Experience using browser-based developer tools
• Experience with backend web development in a dynamic language such as Python, JavaScript or PHP
• Experience using Git to manage source code
• Good communication and time management skills
• Good problem solving, analytical & troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have: 

• Python web development experience
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MS-SQL
• Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
