Job Title: Data Engineer with Scala & Spark exp or Scala Eng.
Location: Bay Area, CA; Minnesota, NJ (Remote for now)
Duration: 12 months+

Job Description:
Primary Skills: Scala & Spark + SQL. Need to be good in Scala coding
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience
6+ years programming experience: building business logic layers and back-end systems for high-volume pipelines
Experience on Spark, Spark SQL, and Scala
Experience with data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data
Good to have:
Must have experience using AWS Data Services: any combination of DMS, EMR, Glue, Athena, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda or IAM
Experience with DevOps tools (any combination of GitHub, Travis CI or Jira) and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development)
