Sr Java with KDB+ Experience

Location : New York NYC and Toronto Canada

Long Term Contract

 

Must Have

• Min. 5 yrs Java knowledge – mid-level experience
• Solid core programming exp. / object design patterns / multithreading.
• Strong Experience in troubleshooting production issues and dealing directly with customers.
• GUI experience is required. At least 3+ years building GUIs on any platform.
• Experience with Windows and Linux env and moderate or better shell scripting skills.
• /C#/Windows/Linux_
• Some use of common open source toCols such as Confluence/GitHub/Jenkins/Maven/Eclipse.
• Good to Have
• KDB experience – a lot of development/support is using KDB.
• C# experience very desirable since one of the main apps is in C# WinForms.
• Experience in Capital Markets, especially Front Office app. development.
