Job Description –
Client is seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect specializing in Salesforce with expertise in integrating with state-level platforms, particularly the IES Gateway. This contract role focuses on designing and implementing scalable solutions that enable seamless integration between Salesforce and Georgia's Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Gateway. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong knowledge of government systems integration, ensuring robust data interoperability for grant management and financial reporting workflows.
Work Location & Attendance Requirements:
• Must be physically located in Georgia
• On-site: Tuesday to Thursday, per manager's discretion
• Mandatory in-person meetings:

• Work arrangements subject to management's decision
While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.
Key Responsibilities:
• IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation.
• Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting.
• System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems.
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implementing proper data protection and audit mechanisms.
• Business Collaboration: Partner with DECAL stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions.
• Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
o Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles.
o 2+ years’ experience with government system integrations.
o Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms.
Technical Skills:
o Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.
o Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes.
o Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware).
o Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes.
Essential Certifications:
o Salesforce Certified Application Architect
o Salesforce Certified Integration Architect
o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I:
