Job Description –  

We are seeking an experienced Kinaxis-SAP Integration Architect with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to design and manage integrations between Kinaxis Rapid Response and SAP ERP systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain processes in a regulated environment, knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, and experience in developing scalable integration solutions that enhance data accuracy and streamline operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Integration Strategy and Architecture: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between Kinaxis Rapid Response and SAP, ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance requirements.

·       Solution Development and Customization: Customize Kinaxis Rapid Response and SAP modules to support pharmaceutical-specific processes such as demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.

·       Data Mapping and Transformation: Perform data mapping, data transformation, and workflow automation to support seamless data flow between systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

·       System Configuration and Optimization: Configure Kinaxis and SAP to support pharma-specific requirements, optimizing for performance and ensuring minimal latency in data exchange.

·       Compliance and Validation: Ensure that all integrations comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations, including GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, by implementing audit trails, data integrity checks, and system validations.

·       Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead integration testing efforts, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate that data flows and integration points meet performance and regulatory requirements.

·       Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, IT, and quality teams to gather requirements and ensure that integration solutions meet both operational and regulatory standards.

·       Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Document all integration workflows, configurations, and procedures while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance system functionality.

 

Qualifications:

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications or relevant coursework in supply chain management or pharmaceutical sciences is preferred.

·       Experience: 10+ years of experience in SAP integration and Kinaxis Rapid Response, with at least 3 years focusing on integrations within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.

·       Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, WM) and Kinaxis Rapid Response, including configuration and customization.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, APIs (REST/SOAP), EDI, and middleware solutions.
• Advanced skills in data transformation, ETL processes, and data exchange protocols.
• Knowledge of data management, data governance, and compliance requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry, such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and batch traceability.

·       Domain Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and quality control.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical industry.

·       Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and regulatory stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management skills with experience in leading integration projects in a regulated environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Kinaxis Rapid Response or SAP.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, especially integrating cloud applications with on-premises SAP systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for rapid and iterative delivery.
