Job Description –

Top Non-Negotiable Technical & Professional Skills needed for worker to hit the ground running:

§ 4+ Years of experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to either Microsoft Azure or AWS

§ 4+ years of experience working directly with Azure or AWS Infrastructure services

§ Operational experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Ansible Playbooks or Terraform templates and scripting tools, including PowerShell, Azure CLI, Shell scripts, Python, or similar languages

§ Operational experience with source code management and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using GIT tools and Azure ADO or AWS DevOps native tools

§ Knowledge in Cloud Governance, security operations, and implementations

Projects candidates can expect to work on:

AWS and Azure public cloud projects. Primary responsibility will be engineering and implementation of the Enterprise Data Platform in AWS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in computer-related discipline, or equivalent experience and certifications

• 4+ Years of experience designing and implementing new on-premises and public cloud systems while implementing best practices and industry standards.

• 4+ Years of experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to either Microsoft Azure or AWS

• 4+ years of experience working directly with Azure or AWS Infrastructure services (VM’s, VNETS, Subnets, NSG’s, Resource Groups, etc. ) and configuring Microsoft Azure or AWS monitoring for cloud resource availability

• Operational experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Ansible Playbooks or Terraform templates and scripting tools, including PowerShell, Azure CLI, Shell scripts, Python, or similar languages

• Experience with networking and firewall management within AWS or MS Azure

• Experience in monitoring & log management using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or similar.

• Operational experience with source code management and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using GIT tools and Azure ADO or AWS DevOps native tools

• Knowledge in Cloud Governance, security operations, and implementations

• Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment. Should thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment which requires wearing many hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn new technologies as needed.

OTHER DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Operational experience with public cloud-based Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery solutions

• Experience with the use of containers and container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes or Nomad
