Role: Sr Java Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE

Long Term Contract

 

Job Description:

Looking for 10+ years of experience as software developer with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.

Advanced experience with application development using Java, Java EE, Micro services, Spring, Spring Boot, Java Design Patterns and JUnit

Strong working experience with NoSQL Database Cassandra

Knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server

Expert working experience with Web service technologies REST and SOAP

Strong working knowledge of IntelliJ or Eclipse, Maven and Tomcat

Strong working experience with Microservices and their deployment into Cloud Foundry

Experience with JMS and Messaging Products (preferably IBM MQ)

Experience with Kafka

Experience with SCM tool GIT

Experience with CI/CD pipeline

Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.

Self-driven and ability to deliver in a fast paced global team environment

Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic

Test-infected attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing)

Preferred:

Working knowledge of Splunk, Wily, Dynatrace

Knowledge of any Rules Engine

Knowledge of any Performance testing tool
